  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • ⅓ cup white onion, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, finely chopped
  • 2 15 oz black beans, drained and rinsed
  • ¾ cup tomato, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp hot sauce
  • 6 large tortillas (burrito size)
  • 6 tostadass
  • 6 small fajita size tortillas (to close the wrap)
  • ⅓ cup sour cream
  • 1½ cup cheese, shredded
  • 1½ cup romaine, shredded
  • ½ cup salsa (optional)
  • 1 avocado, sliced thin (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping vegetables and rinsing the beans.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté onions in olive oil until translucent. Add garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, jalapeño, tomatoes, black beans, and hot sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Assemble the wrap by layering the bean mixture onto a tortilla along with cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and optional toppings. Place a tostada on top and seal with a smaller tortilla.
  4. Cook the wrapped crunch wrap seam-side down in a lightly oiled pan for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Repeat until all ingredients are used and serve with optional dips.
