Ingredients
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder. In a skillet over medium heat, melt ¼ cup of butter and cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic; sauté briefly before adding herbs, lemon juice, and chicken broth. Let simmer until slightly thickened.
- Combine cooked linguine with the sauce in the skillet. Slice the chicken and place on top of the pasta before serving.
