  • 3 tbsp (24g) all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup (173g) sour cream, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 large apples, chopped
  • 1/4 cup (56g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • sprinkle of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/4 cup (29g) powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by greasing or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. For the crust, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, ground cinnamon, and melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth; gradually add sugar and flour until well blended. Mix in sour cream, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and eggs one at a time.
  4. Gently fold in chopped apples before pouring the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  5. Bake for about 50 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center. Let cool before adding toppings.
  6. For toppings, mix light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice; drizzle caramel sauce over cooled bars.
