  • 700g chicken thighs
  • 75g yogurt
  • 50g grated cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Various spices (cayenne powder, garlic powder, cumin powder)
  • 8g salt
  • 10g instant yeast
  • 15g honey
  • 35ml sunflower oil
  • 225ml water
  • 40g butter
  • 25ml olive oil
  • 5g salt
  • 3g cayenne powder
  • 2g coriander powder
  • 3g garlic powder
  • 3g onion powder
  • 3g red bell pepper powder
  • 2g cumin powder
  • 100g Algerienne sauce
  • 20g sweet soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough by mixing flour, salt, yeast, yogurt, honey, sunflower oil, and lukewarm water until smooth. Knead for 10–12 minutes and let rise for an hour.
  2. Roll the dough into circles and layer with butter and cheese.
  3. Cut into triangles, shape into crescents, and let them rise again.
  4. Bake at 200°C (390°F) for 10–15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Cook seasoned chicken in olive oil until golden and mix with sauce.
  6. Fill baked crescents with chicken mixture and serve warm.
