- ⅔ cup granulated sugar (for cinnamon mixture)
- ¼ cup ground cinnamon
- ½ cup whipping cream (or sour cream/Greek yogurt)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
- 2–3 tablespoons cream or milk (for icing)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (for icing)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease your bundt pan well.
- In a bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon for the swirl mix; set aside.
- Cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk flour and baking powder; gradually add to the wet mixture alternating with whipping cream.
- Fold in half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture into the batter.
- Pour half the batter into the bundt pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, add remaining batter, and top with leftover cinnamon-sugar.
- Bake for about 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before icing with a mixture of powdered sugar, milk/cream, and vanilla.
