Ingredients
- 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 4 tsp water
- 2/3 cup orange juice
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Combine with orange juice, zest, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil in a saucepan. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened. Let cool.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with oiled foil and place salmon fillets on it. Baste generously with half of the cooled sauce.
- Bake for about 14 minutes until flaky. Baste again with remaining sauce and broil for one minute for a golden finish.
