Instructions

  2. In one bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in the egg, molasses, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Scoop out dough balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and roll each in powdered sugar.
  7. Place on a lined baking sheet about 2 inches apart and bake for 10 minutes.
