  • 2 x 5oz cans of tuna (drained)
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 stalk celery (chopped)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon parsley (chopped)
  • 34 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • Slices of bread
  • Butter (softened)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna with chopped onion, celery, parsley, minced garlic, mayonnaise, mozzarella cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  3. Spread butter on one side of a slice of bread and place it butter-side down in the skillet. Add about 2 tablespoons of the tuna mixture on top.
  4. Butter another slice of bread on one side and place it on top of the tuna mixture (butter-side up).
  5. Grill until golden brown on both sides, flipping carefully with a spatula.
